About me

Organic State Media is my creative and technical home. I am a specialist driven by the belief that technology should be as intuitive as it is powerful.

My journey didn’t start behind a keyboard—it started on the side-lines and behind the lens. With years of experience in professional photography and videography, I’ve spent my career capturing the energy of the game. But as a coach within the sporting club system, I saw first-hand the "invisible" work that keeps a club running—and the frustration of outdated systems that get in the way.

I pivoted into software design to solve my own problems, and in turn, yours. Clubdeck is the result: a player management solution built by someone who has actually coached the sessions, managed the rosters, and lived the club culture.

Before clubdeck, I was juggling spreadsheets, group chats, and endless back-and-forth emails just to keep track of who was available, who'd attended training, and how players were tracking across the season. Now it's all in one place.

The coaches portal gives me everything I need at a glance. Attendance across both games and training sessions is tracked automatically, so I can actually see patterns — who's been showing up consistently, who might be struggling with commitment, and how that correlates with performance on the day. That kind of visibility used to take hours to compile manually.

The player stats side has been a genuine game changer for our development conversations. Being able to pull up a player's season at a glance — goals, assists, attendance rate, Best & Fairest votes — means our post-game reviews are actually grounded in data rather than gut feel. Managing junior football at a club like ours means overseeing hundreds of players, dozens of teams, coaches, volunteers, and a registration and payments process that used to consume weeks of my time every pre-season. ClubDeck has fundamentally changed how we operate.

The season offers process alone has saved us an enormous amount of time. We can send personalised offers to every player with a single bulk action, and when a family is ready to accept and pay their deposit, it happens automatically — no chasing, no manual tick-offs, no spreadsheets being emailed back and forth. The system knows when a deposit has been received and updates the player's status immediately.

Fee management is where I've seen the biggest operational improvement. We can set fees by team, apply staff discounts for our coaching families, account for volunteer contributions, and generate individual payment records for every player in minutes. The ability to send payment links directly via email — where families simply click and pay through a secure Stripe page — has dramatically improved our collection rate compared to the old bank transfer system.

From a compliance and oversight perspective, being able to see at a glance which players are financial, who has accepted their offer, and which teams have outstanding payments means I'm not constantly chasing coordinators for updates. Everything is visible in one dashboard.
